An Eagle Scout Court of Honor is a celebration of years of hard work, leadership, perseverance, service, and character development. Only a small percentage of Scouts earn the rank of Eagle Scout, making this achievement one of the most respected honors a youth can earn.
The project the Scout does is the cornerstone of the journey. The Scout is expected to “plan, develop, and give leadership to others” through a project that creates a lasting impact in their community. To celebrate the Scout’s amazing accomplishment and the individuals who helped guide them along the way, an Eagle Court of Honor is held.
For Kael H.’s Court of Honor, one of the individuals he invited to join in this celebration was Scouting America, Longhouse Council’s Scout Executive and CEO, Ed Theetge. Something that people don’t know is that if the Scout Executive and CEO attend a Scout’s Court of Honor, you’ll get a special shoulder patch.

If you have an Eagle Court of Honor coming up, consider inviting the Scout Executive to join in celebrating you on this extraordinary achievement.
