Onondaga District Awards: Applications and Deadlines

It is once again time to recognize those Scouters who have generously given of their time and energies at the various levels of Scouting. Nominations for the Silver Beaver Award, given by the council, must be in by March 15th. For guidelines and application please click here. The deadline for the council awards is March 11th, the date of the District Roundtable. Description of the District Awards and application forms can be found by clicking on each of the following: District Award of Merit, William Hillcourt Exceptional Scouter Award, Lamplighter Award, and Sparkplug Award.

Toggenburg Mountain Winter Sports Center is offering a Ski and Snowboarding program for Scouts of all ages. Updated 2/2/10
This program will concentrate on the requirements of the variouCout badges for the different age groups such as Snow Sports Merit Badge, Cub Scout Snow Ski and Board Sports Belt Loop, and the Cub Scout Ski and Board Sports Pin. For details please click here

Onondaga District Seeking Donations of Uniforms and Equipment
The Onondaga District is seeking donations of Scout Uniforms and Scout related supplies such as tents, cook kits, stoves, etc. If you know of Scouts or Cubs who have outgrown their uniforms or no longer use their equipment please ask them to donate these items to the Onondaga District's scouting program.
