On Thursday June 12, Crossroads District held its annual Volunteer Awards Reception. Volunteer Scouters were honored with over 50 Awards for their accomplishments in Scouting in the past year.
David Aitken, a Scouter with Troop and Pack 22, and a member of the Executive Board of Longhouse Council, was honored with the District Award of Merit for his leadership of the Scouting in Syracuse initiative. This is the highest award presented to Scouters at a district level.
