Thank you for attending the 2023 Racing (Off to the Races) Cub Camp experiences. In 2024, our focus is “Outdoor Adventures”. By participating in day camp, the scouts will have the opportunity to explore skills, and work on fascinating projects, while at the same time having fun, exploring our natural world, and fostering lasting friendships.

You can also expect the scouts to be able to participate in the traditional day camp activities that have been loved for years, such as:

  • Archery
  • Waterfront/swimming
  • Hiking
  • BB guns
  • Creating crafts

**Activities may vary between camps and not all listed are not necessarily available at all camps listed below. All day camps are morning drop off and afternoon pick-up. In addition, continuing this year is the “Family Camp” format: Thursday and Friday are morning drop off and afternoon pick-up and family members attend with their Cub on Saturday and stay overnight for more fun and excitement on Sunday.

All campers must provide their own bag lunch. The registration for all camps end seven business days prior to the first day of camp.

Dates for 2024:

  • Week 1: July 22-26, 2024
  • Week 2: July 29- August 2, 2024
  • Family Camp Weekends (more information to come!):
    • #1: July 19-21, 2024
    • #2: August 9-11, 2024

As your scout’s first day of camp approaches, you will receive more camp specific information regarding drop-off and pick-up times and program schedule. If you have questions between now and then, please feel free to contact the Camp Director.

Fall Family Spooktacular

This is where Scouting really comes alive at beautiful Camp Woodland 491 Kibbie Lake Rd. Constantia, NY! Watch your Scout’s eyes light up as they hit the archery target or catches their first fish. These are experiences that bring a family together and create memories of a lifetime. These will be their favorite childhood moments, and they will be proud to share them with their parents. The Spooktacular is a Fall/Halloween themed day event that provides an opportunity for the whole family to experience the outdoors. Cub Scouts and their family members can participate in some of the same activities available at Cub Camp, and a few more.

Getting to Camp Woodland is easy from 81 North or South exiting at Exit 32 Central Square and heading East on RT 49 for 7.1 miles to the Village of Constantia, NY. Turn Left at Kibbie Lake Rd and approximately 2.5 miles North is Camp Woodland’s entrance on the left.

Fall Family Spooktacular: Is always the second weekend of October.
