by a district for service and work by Scouters. You must be nominated
and selected by a committee for this award |

Beaver - This is a national award that is presented by the
local council for service and work by Scouters. You must be nominated
and selected by a committee for this award. |

Antelope - The Silver Antelope Award is presented upon action
of the Regional Executive Board of one of the BSA's four Regions
for service to youth within the Region or for outstanding longtime
service to youth by a registered Scouter residing within that Region.
Candidates for this award must be nominated. |

Buffalo - The Silver Buffalo Award is awarded upon action
of the National Executive Board of the Boy Scouts of America. This
award is given to volunteer Scouters and other individuals for outstanding
service to youth on a national basis or over a significant period
of national service to a youth agency or in actions affecting youth. |

Whitney
Young Award - This national award is presented to Scouters
that have been instrumental in providing Scouting to youth in an
urban environment. You must be nominated and selected by a committee
for this award. |

Distinguished
Commissioner Award - This award is presented to commissioners
that have gone beyong the call of duty in their respective areas
of commissioner work. |

Explorer
Achievement Award - A national level award that is presented
by the council for outstanding work in Exploring. You must be nominated
and selected by a committee for this award. |

Distinguished Service Award - This award is presented for
outstanding work in the Order of the Arrow. You must be nominated
and selected by a committee for this award. |

Spurgeon
Award - This national level award is presented by the council
to individuals that have done outstanding work in the area of Career
Awareness Exploring. |

Meany Award - This award is presented by local unions of
the AFL-CIO to union members that have faithfully served Scouting. |
