  Trail Pizza
  Ingredients
This is a lightweight and easily prepared pizza that we use on 50-mile trips where weight and food storage is important. Properly prepared, it rivals any pizzeria!

Note: The "Low Pack Weight" Ingredients also will keep longer.

  Directions
This pizza is made using one 8-12 inch Teflon-coated pan with a lid, cooked on a very low heat. A large plastic spatula is also desirable.

Precook any toppings that should be thoroughly cooked and set them aside (i.e. pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, etc.) Note: This is done because the pizza is cooked using a low heat and the toppings will not cook thoroughly otherwise.

Open and prepare your sauce. Set out your seasonings. Lightly oil your pan and light your stove so that you can get it ready to run at the lowest setting possible.

Make the dough by mixing all the ingredients in a plastic bag. It is best to gradually add the flour until the consistency of the dough is like "wet clay" or " play-dough."

Press the dough into the pan getting it as thin as you can and all the way to the edge of the pan, where it starts to turn upwards. Sprinkle the seasoned salt and garlic onto the dough. Cover the pan and place it on,the low heat.

Check the bottom using the spatula. When it starts to brown, flip it over. Sprinkle the seasoned salt and garlic onto the dough. Spread the sauce onto the dough. Sprinkle the cheese onto the dough. Note: It's best not to use too much if you're using shredded cheese, as it won't all melt. Add your toppings. Sprinkle the oregano onto the top.

Cover the pan back up and place it on low heat. Check the bottom using the spatula. When it starts to brown and the cheese has sufficiently melted, take it off and let it cool for about 5 minutes. EAT!
