Maynards Goulash
Ingredients
Shortening
1 29-oz cans Baked Beans
2 small onions
2 9 1/4 oz cans Vienna Sausage
2 20 oz cans crushed Pineapples
Directions
Put frying pan with
about a tablespoon of shortening in it over coals to heat. Put beans
in kettle and put on some coals that are old and past their prime.
Remove the outer layers and ends from the onions and dice into small
pieces. When frying pan is hot, put onions in and brown thoroughly.
After onions are browned, add them to the beans and mix. Open Vienna
Sausage, cut into 1/2 inch lengths and add to beans. Add pineapple
to beans. Stir contents in kettle. Now allow this to simmer slowly
over a low fire for 15 - 20 minutes. Stir frequently.
