Bill's Pot Roast - Dutch Oven |

Ingredients |
| |
Any type of beef roast
(4 lbs.)
4 onions, sliced
1 lb. carrots, chopped
2-3 lbs. potatoes, chopped
2 packages beef soup mix
1 package mushrooms, sliced (optional)
3/4 cup of flour |

Directions |

Sear 4 lb. roast on
all sides in heavy frying pan. Then place roast in 8 to 12 quart
Dutch oven. Combine soup packages, 5 cups of water and flour. Pour
over roast and add onions and mushrooms. Place over coals and cook
for 2 hours. Remove lid and add carrots and potatoes, and cook for
an hour more. |
