Apple Crisp (Dutch Oven) |

Ingredients |

12 to 15 apples, sliced
(pared or unpared)
1 cup flour
1/2 to 1cup sugar (depending on sweetness of apples)
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1unbeaten egg
2/3 cup melted butter
cinnamon |

Directions |

Grease or spray Dutch
Oven with cooking spray or line with aluminum foil. Place sliced
apples into Dutch Oven (apples should cover bottom about to 1 inch
deep). Combine first 5 ingredients until crumbly and spread over
apples. Pour melted butter over all and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake with coals on bottom and top (medium heat) for about 25 to
35 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Serve warm with whipped
cream (if available). |
