| For
the Hornaday Bronze Medal, earn the Environmental
Science merit badge, plus at least three additional
badges from group 1, and any two others listed
from the group 2. If special circumstances make
it impossible to complete any of the required
merit badges, the Scout Executive may grant a
waiver or allow a substitution. An explanation
of the waiver should be appended to the application. |

For
the Hornaday Bronze Medal, plan, lead, and carry
out four significant projects in natural resource
conservation or environmental improvement - one
each from four of the seven project categories
listed above.
There must be clear written evidence in your application
that you did indeed plan, lead, and carry out
four long-term, substantial projects in four different
conservation categories.
Past recitients have indicated that it takes at
least eighteen months to complete all the requirements. |
