Districts

The Hiawatha Seaway Council is composed of six districts plus the Young Adult Division, which covers the entire Council area. These districts in turn are made up of 456 Packs, Troops, and Posts.

Onondaga District

Onondaga District is the most populated district and, except for a sliver on the western edge, roughly covers the southern half of Onondaga County including the City of Syracuse. The district manitains a web page at http://home.twcny.rr.com/colliersville/onondaga/ and is the proud home of the original OLD GOATS. Onondaga District is the southernmost point and location of the main offices of the Hiawatha Seaway Council.

Northern Lights

At the northern end of the council is the Northern Lights District.  It encompasses all of St. Lawrence County and at 2,880 square miles is the largest district in the council and quite possibly the largest in the state. Interlakes District

Located on the western edge of Onondaga County is Interlakes District.  Interlakes District is the home of the ONAGER's and maintains a web page for its members at http://home.twcny.rr.com/interlakes/interhmp.htm .

Ontario District

Located right on Lake Ontario, all of Oswego County is in Ontario District. The district has recently set up a a web site for it's members at http://home.twcny.rr.com/ontariodistrict/.

Tri-Rivers District

Encompassing all of Jefferson and Lewis Counties the Tri-Rivers district is the geographic center of the 7,488 square mile Hiawatha Seaway Council. The district maintains a web page at http://www.tririversscouting.org

Oneida District

Located in the northern part of Onondaga County we find Oneida District. The district maintains a web page at http://home.twcny.rr.com/oneidadist.

Young Adult Division
