The Hiawatha Seaway Council serves Central and Northern New York. It was formed in 1999 by a merger of Hiawatha Council and Seaway Valley Council. The Hiawatha Seaway Council proudly serves the counties of Jefferson, Lewis, Onondaga, Oswego, and St. Lawrence.

ATTENTION SCOUTS: Interested in a Summer 2009 trip to the Northern Tier Canoe Base in Ely, MN?

Enjoy 9 days of canoeing the Boundary Waters area. An expedition from Hiawatha Seaway Council has openings for 3-5 scouts. The trip is scheduled to arrive at the canoe base July 8, 2009.
