Hiawatha Seaway Council: How to become a Scout

If you already know that you want to join please download the "I want to Join" coupon. It's in Adobe Acrobat format so it should open automatically. Fill in the blanks and then save the file to your desktop. Then e-mail it to rsander@bsamail.org in the office.

How to Join

The Hiawatha Seaway Council encompasses 456 Packs, Troops, and Posts in upstate and northern New York which provide the Scouting Program to youth ages 6 through 20. Registration is a simple process and is determined by age or school grade.

Tiger Cubs - boys ages 6 or in the first grade
Cub Scouts - boys grades 2-5
Boy Scouts - boys grades 6-11
Varsity - boys ages14 - 18
Venturing - young men and women ages 14 - 18
Career Awareness Exploring - young men and women grades 9 - 12
Learning for Life - everyone in grades K - 12
